Day 529: Confirming an Appointment With Our Neurologist

Thanks to a few recommendations, I started to test new sleep apps. Last night I tested “Sleep Better” which seemed to be simple enough to use and had the basic features that I was searching for.

I know that no band or app will be able to track sleep exactly and that’s not what I’m looking for. What I care about is having some way of consistently tracking my sleep data. Even if it is partially inaccurate, at least it will be consistent.

Though we went to bed a bit later than we had originally planned, I slept better last night than I had over the previous nights.

Today was another day filled with meetings while I tried using any downtime to work on the many deliverables due this week.

While I was taking Sasha for a walk after work I managed to find my UP band. Someone placed it on top of a doggie bag bin along one of the paths that I walk Sasha on.

I’m not sure that I’ll go back to using it since I can utilize my Apple Watch for steps and then rely on the sleep app that I settle on for tracking sleep habits. All of that data syncs with the Apple Health app.

My knee was feeling better after tweaking it last night but I decided to give it a night to completely rest. I will test it out tomorrow night to make sure that everything is ok.

Hopefully I will have my new kettlebell tomorrow night so that I can get back on track with the 10k kettlebell swing challenge.

Laura and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks tonight to relax for a bit together. With it being our first full week back in our offices since before Christmas, we have found it to be a productive but tiring week.

We’re also still getting adjusted to our new schedules. Though we haven’t had major changes, just getting up early again is a bit taxing.

I confirmed my appointment with our neurologist for February 5th. We will already be at UCSF that day for another MRI and a visit with our neuro-oncologist so it made sense to schedule an appointment with her for the same day.
